Designed yellow page ads, did yellow pages layout, designed community pages
and directory covers. Hardware included Macintosh G-4. Software included
Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat
and Acrobat Distiller.

Graphic Designer - National Home Center - 1997-1998

Member of advertising team at corporate office. Designed tabloid style
catalog publications, promotional brochures and numerous special projects.
Broadened experience to include PageMaker, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Also used Kodak Digital Camera and related enhancement software and learned
to format copy to send CMYK separations to an image setter.

Purchased my own equipment and software. Did design and layout on
print advertising, business cards, promotional flyers and invoices for various
clients. Advanced my human relations skills and broadened my experience to
include analyzing advertising and business needs of clients. Also created ads on
a contract basis for Accurate Mapping Company - Springdale, Arkansas.

Acquired experience in graphic design and paste-up/page layout operations.
